Reply to Message resulted to the new Message. Reply to Progress resulted to Message again, which is illogical. IMHO, reply to Progress should be Progress.
We decided to use message for replies, since that’s what most of the time people do – comment on files or progress notes.
How about much needed updates like sub tasks and milestones! essential for Project Management and unless I’m missing something missing from 5pm
MojoWill > We have task and project deadlines, this excludes the need to add extra items like milestones.
Also we will be introducing task dependencies soon – this will let you link and group the tasks.
I think that sub-tasks and an actual task type “milestone” would be really useful too.
We use 5pm to handle multiple different projects and so a task might be “Integrate CMS” and it would invaluable to be able to have sub-tasks of “Integrate Publication library”,”Integrate Image library” etc within that task.
At the moment you would need to make “Integrate CMS” a project on its own.
Is there any chance these features will be added?
Task Dependencies are a great improvement!
We don’t have milestones, since we have Task Deadlines. So you can basically add the last task with a duration of one day and use it as Milestone. There is no need to have another task category.
