We just updated our 5pm API. In fact, we did re-write it from scratch. Now it supports read/write and much more!
5pm API is in alpha now and open for any developer to play with it – your feedback and suggestons are welcome.

Fantastic work,
I will be looking at this later tonight. Can’t wait to get down to it – but looking over the documentation it appears to be a major rewrite and very good.
Congratulations!
You reference include(‘xpmClient’); in the documentation. Is this a library I can download somewhere?
Thank you!

Having an API is good stuff. I’m looking forward to playing around a bit with this. Before we switched to 5pm I actually had our companies Intranet setup to add web requests directly to a sharepoint library using similar web services. So far I have had trouble doing the same with your API after adding “Web Service” references to the alpha release.. Hopefully I will figure it out but just wanted to let you know that there are sure to be C# developers out there that could benefit from samples.
When I figure it out I will try to provide some examples myself to help the cause..
