Some of our clients asked for an easier way to self-assign projects/tasks they create (right now it takes a couple of clicks). We went ahead and added this as an option to personal “settings” (turned off by default).

We just updated our iPhone app to iOS7.
We also used this opportunity to fix some issues we found and improve it in some places.
You can download it from iTunes here.
With iOS7 out every iOS developer found themselves with the task of optimizing their existing apps for the new iOS.
While updating our 5pm iPhone app, our developers ran into different issues they had to address. Since other developers may face the same problems, we decided to share what we have learned.
Below are just five practical solutions you may need when optimizing your app for iOs 7. Feel free to add more in the comments – it may save other developers some time.

While PayPal is big, they did not innovate much in web payments lately. The PayPal interface needs a redesign. You send a customer to their website for a subscription upgrade and they are back with two different subscriptions instead – a typical case. So now we have to cancel the duplicate subscription, refund the difference, email the client, etc. It’s like sending them to the wilderness without a map and waiting at the edge of the forest to see if they emerge unscathed. If they do at all…
6 years ago 5pm was born. Since then it grew and changed, as did our team.
Only this year we released such big features as: in-house developed native iPhone app v2 (to replace the first version), Social Toolbar with in-app chat, redesigned Timeline and the updated interface.
We are looking forward to keep expanding and improving 5pm and want to thank all our customers for their support and feedback!
Get more done by 5pm!
